LESS own the website and its contents.

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act), the data controller is LESS.

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU

LESS Members

LESS is provided by a collaborative partnership of organisations (see about us for details). When you register your organisation's details they will be on a database to which LESS provider organisations will have access. This is necessary to enable LESS to provide the agreed services and to allow authorisation of organisations registering to enable them to upload their information to LESS.

General Public

You may be asked for personal information if you want to take advantage of specific services that LESS offer. In each case we will only use the personal information you provide to enable us to deliver the services you have requested.LESS will not sell or rent your personal identifiable information, gathered as a result of filling out the site registration form, to anyone.

LESS will shall send personally identifiable information about you to other partner organisations, companies or people when:

  • We have your consent to share the information
  • A service you have requested is supplied by an approved LESS partner and we need to pass your information to them for that reason
  • Where we are required by the operation of law to provide information to others

London Environmental Support Services (LESS) is a new service that aims to raise businesses awareness of the financial benefits of resource efficiency and waste minimisation, encouraging them to access the wide range of environmental support services available in London. LESS is funded by the London Development Agency (LDA) with additional support from the Government’s Business Resource Efficiency and Waste (BREW) Programme, which is run through the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). The Service is run on behalf of the LDA by Atkins Limited.
