Hotels

Did you know?

  •  Hotels and catering account for 5% of London’s waste
  • If only glass and aluminium was recycled, there would be a 16% decrease in waste

There are over 100 000 hotel rooms in London catering for visitors of the capital.  Many hotel chains have key environmental policies for their popularity, but many more simple changes could be made for a greener stay in London.  With landfill tax possibly rising to £26 per tonne and stricter Hazardous waste regulations, it would be wise to act now for a more sustainable and greener hotel.
